We were on the front lines during the technology boom of the 1990’s when things on the web were being bought and sold like the wild west. Our work was integral in the passing of the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act (ACPA), the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the plethora of other legislative initiatives since then and after.
The principals of IPCybercrime have been at the forefront of investigations for technology companies since the 1990s. During the infancy of this explosion our CEO Rob Holmes was managing the first team of its kind for the world’s largest software company. At the same time our COO Jason Holmes was managing the first-ever internet monitoring systems for similar brands.
During and after the dot-com boom, we had advised some of the largest companies in the world on the process of keeping their data, intellectual property and reputations clean and protected. We have assisted many funded startups in their branding process as well as the naming and security of each of their upcoming products. We help keep knockoffs, trade secret theft, and harassment to a minimum. For the record… our clients are still standing.
Since the last tech bubble, we have experienced every problem known to man and woman. From stock market devaluations to trade secret theft; from infringement to Nigerian scamming operations. Our principals, Rob Holmes and Jason Holmes, have learned every scam known to man from their private eye dad since they were kids. There is nothing in the technology sector that we at IPCybercrime have not experienced and mastered.
